Jammu, Dec 24 (KNO): Chief Minister Omar Abdullah extended his Christmas greetings to all those celebrating this occasion across Jammu and Kashmir and beyond. In his message, the Chief Minister described Christmas as a blessing for humanity, reflecting peace, love, and compassion. He emphasized the timeless relevance of Jesus Christ’s teachings, which continue to inspire the values of kindness, forgiveness, and harmony in today’s world. “Christmas is not just a celebration; it is a testament to the strength of our collective harmony where every community comes together to celebrate this joyous occasion. The teachings of Jesus Christ remain as significant today as they were then, reminding us to strive for a more peaceful and inclusive world,” the Chief Minister said. Highlighting the secular fabric of Jammu and Kashmir, Omar Abdullah praised the spirit of unity and brotherhood that characterizes the region. He urged the people to use this occasion to reinforce their commitment to these cherished values and to extend a helping hand to the less fortunate, ensuring that no one is left behind in the celebration of this joyous festival.
